Instead of this ridiculous anthology nonsense. The game is so frustrating because it should have been good but they just made bad decision after bad decision with how they handled the routes.

I'm so pissed that this isn't the case. I played Metaphor Refantazio recently, and that game's true ending is EVERYTHING that I wanted from Hundred Line.
You have a fuckin' sweet duel with the big bad, all your friends survive, there's a trippy fourth-wall breaking plot twist, you get a cute epilogue after a timeskip, and then it ends with the party going on another adventure. I don't care if its cheesy as hell, something like that is what I want for characters that I spent 90 hours of playtime with. Instead we got the Second Scenario ending where you die lole and yore friends died lole and Nozomi is the only survivor lole haha lole (the game did an awful job getting me to care about her btw)

I actually don’t quite like the steins gate set up because it means actively abandoning the main story you’re following to focus on a separate character and that also feels like a non canon wrong outcome to me. At least here every route feels like it is real until SF says if 17/17 aren’t alive by the end you’re getting yoinked back to the start Takumi and Hiruko. Kodaka saying the KG crew were fine after though does make it sound like some copies of those 2 get to keep going though . 2nd scenario is kinda like that steins gate set up though with taking you in a wild different direction based on the decisions

I think it’s fine how they did it but too many of the routes aren’t great. I only played the routes I was interested in and I came away happy, and for 2 months have seen how unhappy people doing everything in the game feels (along with doing it blind/not backing out of a route you’re not interested in). Romance was the first route I got and as soon as it made clear what’s happening for the next 75 days I backed out immediately. I did do blind myself until I hit the lock asking for specific endings and another lock and that’s when I said fuck it and just pulled up an all endings guide.

Guys, so far I played everything like that:
>prologue
>slasher route (both)
>mystery route till lock
>other route that shortly ended with another lock, I dont remember the name spoiler it ended with Hiruki telling you about time looping
>Retsnom route
>2nd scenario route (and other short routes that branches late in this route)
>killing game route

I enjoyed the game but:
Retsnom route was boring as fuck and I want to avoid routes similar to this one
Killing Game route was fun but after finished 2nd scenario it feels like I am just playing what-if stories that don't carry the same weight anymore.

How to proceeed to get the rest of the story and answers for all these shits like character in suits jumping around timelines and that "G'ie" or whatever?

In order to unlock that Hiruko route you just need 2 more endings from 1 more route. It’s nice you did it in this order since I feel it’s more of a pay off to see this one last.

The decisions you need to make to end up on the last required branch is Kill Eva decision in 2nd Scenario -> go after shadowy figure -> face voice -> go help sirei. There’s a part later where you have to side with one character or another, both are required for the lock.

I can see that, saw a lot of complaints for slasher for the same reason.

I went blind until I hit the lock that says get 4 endings and the other lock and decided to just look up where they were and also what the routes are. From there I just picked which ones seemed interesting, so going into Slasher I was expecting what happened and the type of story it was (except the zombie centric branch lol) and same with going into Retsnom as the Darumi route.

The true ends to the game are pretty much Kodaka’s end and Uchikoshi’s end which is behind the locks.
