There are loads of game out there, if your backlog can't keep you perpetually busy in between interesting new releases, you just aren't looking hard enough. If waiting a bit for a release to PC or Switch 1/2 isn't an issue, then it's just the most bang for your buck. A PS5 is likely to remain the costliest choice you could make, for games you could play elsewhere. Maybe you miss out on the new Astrobot or Concord, but everything else more than makes up for it.
