I hate e-celebs but I like Battlefield so I’ll post. I feel like large scale FPS games like Battlefield will never reach their peak again. The multiplayer market was competitive back then but not as bad as today.

i feel like bf4 and bf3 are too similar and both have very annoying vehicles, most people having fun in 4 and 3 are playing on infantry maps

From what I know of the fans, the consensus is that of the modern BF goes
BFV > BF4 > BF3 > BF1> BFH > Payday 2 > Hardline
It's debatable whether BF1 takes BFV's spot or whether it's one of the worst games. I read something about crappy maps, unbalanced weapons and bloom (which is garbage in any game).

I don't understand why people would prefer BF3 over BF4, since you got most of the best maps from 3 in 4. Although when they imported Gulf of Oman (origins is BF2, iconic map) over to 4 the whole sandstorm mechanic that is technically apart of levelution kind of ruined the map. Unless you think the map needed to be a constant sandstorm that it is. Most people never vote the Gulf of Oman while playing BF4 for this reason. It's the only one thing Dice got wrong, since it was such a needless mechanic. Aside from the shit launch state of 4 that is.

I personally liked Tehran Highway, and that's not really because it's now topical. That's the one map that i feel like BF4 was missing in being imported over. I got Caspian Border so i have little complaints otherwise. The vibes are immaculate and maybe that's because a night map works well with the blue filter or something, good combination for urban warfare.

Tick rate does make a pretty significant difference. Difference in weapons, and I guess maps is up to tastes.
