Babylon's Fall. I heard bad things but I loved Platinum, surely they could do no wrong! In retrospect, Platinum had done a lot wrong before that and have only continued to get worse. I spent a lot of hours on that game hoping it would somehow get good at the end or I'd unlock something. And all I received was a lackluster useless upgrade and the worst final boss I've ever fought. I wish I could play it again now just to see what it's like and really break down what made it so bad in detail beyond "oh it just did everything wrong" even though that's really just what it did, horrible repetitive level design, repetitive bad enemy design, unfun weapons that turn the best way to play into holding down your top 2 weapons at all times and mashing with your bottom 2 (they never added an option to change between them which might've given a reason to change your loadout), stupid grindy weapon collection/upgrade mechanics, and ugly graphics with a smear filter over the screen (which was only barely toned down). Whew, that's only scratching the surface. I an also ashamed to admit that I bought a decent chunk of premium currency which taught me a valuable lesson and I've never bought in-game currency ever again.

Persona 5 Tactica was so bad I felt embarrassed paying full price, assuming anything Persona 5 would be good, and I even let the 2 week refund window expire

Persona 5 first version on PS4.
Game was in full English / Japanese, not even translated in others normal languages.
They put translations in Persona 5 Royal edition few years later.
I stopped to play after 30 minutes, it was just too hard to understand. Awful memory

Guild Wars 2 at launch
I spent hours defending it on here pre-launch. I had pre-ordered it. I was convinced the magic would be back and I'd have great fun on the ground floor of a new MMO. I had so much fun with GW1 and just wanted to play the same game but more and better.
Then I realized how limiting the weapon skills were. How shitty the launch story was. How boring the world events were.
And I never really recovered my optimism.

None. I hated Resident Evil 6 by the end but I didn't regret buying or playing it. I genuinely can't understand being broken up about a bad video games

Some other shit is going on in life if that's what breaks you
