The game is a bit complex because you've got characters classes depending on what combinations of djinn you have equipped, but it's plenty easy enough to just summon spam the entire game and never have any trouble.
The real allure is all the puzzles and the summon animations.

man i know it's overstated these days but it's mind blowing these consoles were three years apart and now we regularly get game sequels taking 5+ years of active development.
