I don't get why people like framegen, like the primary advantage of higher frame rates to me is the game being more responsive, and framegen increases the frame rate without at all increasing responsiveness so it just feels awkward

Guide for Lossless Scaling Linux on steam deck
1) Purchase Lossless Scaling from the steam store
2)Download, and install Losless Scaling, but do not run.
3)In desktop mode enter "curl -sSf https://pancake.gay/lsfg-vk.sh | sh" into konsole
4)Make sure you have v-sync enabled in game options if available for the game it is that you want to play, and set the game to play in borderless windowed mode
5) Make sure you are using proton experimental for the game
6) add this to launch options
"DXVK_FRAME_RATE=30 ENABLE_LSFG=1 LSFG_MULTIPLIER=2 LSFG_FLOW_SCALE=1.0 LSFG_PERF_MODE %COMMAND%"

I recommend avoiding the decky plugin, and gamemode for now. Use this in desktop mode.
