Reliably double you frame rate with minimal artifacts, and input lag, with lossless scaling. High-end titles that ran at 30fps can now reliably be ran at 60fps. DECKCHADS STAY WINNING!
>>715426786they are as real as any other frames, but not canon
>yet another thread where a valve jeet brings up console wars against nintendo out of nowhere
Daily reminder that it's not nintendo fans starting shit.
>>715426725 (OP)Can't you do fsr with gamescope?
>>715427234Lol fuck off, go fuck your DK pocket pussy, oh wait you can't because you cut your dick off.
>>715427298This looks way better, also this is just frame generation.
i barely even browse the catalog yet every single time i have to see this one pixel duck
>>715427393I don't get why people like framegen, like the primary advantage of higher frame rates to me is the game being more responsive, and framegen increases the frame rate without at all increasing responsiveness so it just feels awkward
>>715427428it's a big deal.
>>715427576I'll take more visual fluidity, for a small hit to responsiveness. If it's a movie game, or rpg.
Guide for Lossless Scaling Linux on steam deck
1) Purchase Lossless Scaling from the steam store
2)Download, and install Losless Scaling, but do not run.
3)In desktop mode enter "curl -sSf https://pancake.gay/lsfg-vk.sh | sh" into konsole
4)Make sure you have v-sync enabled in game options if available for the game it is that you want to play, and set the game to play in borderless windowed mode
5) Make sure you are using proton experimental for the game
6) add this to launch options
"DXVK_FRAME_RATE=30 ENABLE_LSFG=1 LSFG_MULTIPLIER=2 LSFG_FLOW_SCALE=1.0 LSFG_PERF_MODE %COMMAND%"
I recommend avoiding the decky plugin, and gamemode for now. Use this in desktop mode.
