Primal ended pretty badly too. It sets up this big demon king who in the end does very little and theres no explanation for why he even wanted to fuck with Spear, then Spear ends up dying from severe burns all over his body and Mira gives him a pity fuck in his last moment & gets pregnant... what?
It was just a mess, started out as a cool unga bunga adventure and ended with "oh shit, we need to give this show a ending NOW"

People who say this, AND the fags that seethe about the Portal Guardian/Ashi, are the same fags that forget how the show ALWAYS had Jack near a struggling civilization that so happens to have access to a portal or time travel. It's surprisingly slow paced for a childrens cartoon. There are lot of calm and panning shots where nothing really happens. I remember being hooked instantly from the first episode when Jack goes on his big worldwide culture training arc

Given how Jack is a kids cartoon first, and that it had small bits of continuity in the beginning and then HAD to have a story that is constantly moving at the end + callbacks, I give it grace and am happy we got an ending at all and glad Gendy got to do it and not some literal-who that just owned the rights.
