What's funny about this is that Kojima's writing is far more superficial and overall bad than Druckmann's, objectively speaking. There is zero depth to Kojima's writing...he is trying to write deep stuff but it just comes off as goofy and funny. TLOU 1 and 2 have far more compelling stories and give you a lot more to think about, even if you hated them. And i like the games of both. But i am just being real.

I wish TLOU 2 story was different, but what we got is still pretty competent and i refuse to believe it doesn't make anyone feel something in its key moments. Especially the flashbacks. But MGSV felt like a cheesy 90s action movie to me and DS was simply too convoluted and only the Mads storyline was well done and relatable.

I feel like it executed it perfectly. You first start with immense anger and only want to kill abby. Then you play as her and be like "wtf, why do I now need to replay all three days again", but slowly you start to understand her. You get that abby got what she wanted but still suffered. You feel empathy and then the end, where you don't know what to feel. Kill her, not kill her, both of them should die? I personally just wanted it to be finally over, didn't want any of them to die. But I didn't like the fingers thing honestly, but it made perfect sense. Flew too near the light and lost everything.
