I own a Switch 2 and am happy with my purchase but idk how you can see this release schedule and not think it's grim. 1 decent real original exclusive and a bunch of slop remakes, remasters and ports. We need a new Direct asap, they need to shadow drop some nice smaller original titles to space things out such as we got with things kike Tetris99 and Super Kirby Clash ect. I can get any of these 3rd party releases for cheaper and running better on my pc or steam deck. People buy Nintendo consoles to play Nintendo games.

Anybody else notice how empy the lobbies on Mario Kart World were over the weekend due to splatfest? a game that old shouldn't be drawing that many players away from a game barely a month old that is the exclusive game worth playing for a new nintendo console. Now that's grim

Kek, i picked up splatoon 3 because i wanted to have more to play online then just mario kart and i never really messed with nintendos online before.

Its been amazing. I thought i would hate the 4v4 format because i never enjoyed counter strike, but nope rounds over too fast for me to get tilted. And if i do get on a losing streak i just switch to salmon run.

Yep. Didnt feel like dealing with the switch online. Probably a net positive because i played the first day before the switch 2 performance patch and its a night and day difference.

I hope splat 3 runs a while longer. I dont like throwing money at live service type games that eventually shut down but i ended up liking this a lot more then i ever expected.
