Yeah exactly like that. You gotta sign up for a Nintendo account first though. If you get Nintendo+ you can download at premium speeds. Which is a boon, since that game alone is about 150GB's to download.

It's a chunky game. Compression has since then much improved actually.
Thankfully you can attach an external drive to the console.

Dont listen to that poster.
We used to have to put the disc in, take a picture, bring the picture to a developer, wait a day for the pictures to be ready, send those pictures to nintendo via post, wait a week and then you got the first part of the game. You had to repeat the process after beating each level, so the install times were really quick
