If it's not already a thing I assume that there's already good money being poured into R&D for effective IRL 'aim assist' tech. Bullets that correct in flight or guns that compensate for operator shake/error.

Aim assist wasn't this big of an issue on console until every game started having cross-play with PC around 2015. Then devs tuned up the Aim Assist by 200% so controller tards could compete. MCC was probably the biggest contributer to this cancer.
