So I've been playing a lot of Boat Crew recently, it's inspired by Bomber Crew (obvious I guess given the name) but I'm finding it a lot more interesting as you have direct control over your craft.
You're in command of a PT boat in the Solomon Islands during the war in the pacific in WW2; your job is to disrupt enemy shipping, harrass their merchant fleets and support/defend your fleets so they can capture bases along the island chain. As well as that you have certain high-value targets (mostly IJN destroyers, cruisers and carriers) that you can get mucho points for sinking.
You pick a crew with various traits, outfit your boat; you control movement and certain weapons like torpedoes, depth charges, rockets and certain deck guns while your crew mans the boat, shoots their MGs/cannons at targets you designate and can be assigned to various tasks like medic, repairman, loader, etc.
It's in early access at the moment but nearly ready to release and I'd recommend heartily what's there already.
Also AJ Love needs to sit on my face for a thousand years.

yeah it was fun enough and had charm. felt bad for the dev when he came back recentlyish with a 10th anniversary remaster and tried to drum up some interest only to be met with basically nothing so he faded back into the wind
