>beta happens
>people bitch and complain about the monetisation
>Devs fix everything they complained about
>people bitch again about a single skin only hyper gooner autists will buy
>They don't play the game

This is why we can't have nice things.

The gameplay is fun, the controls are much more methodical in how they handle where you boost matters and energy management is important, it's not quite as fast pace as ac6, game is pretty F2P friendly, although in the extraction game mode there is some p2w but the 6v6 and 3v3 is completely p2w free, you can also earn premium currency via an ingame market place by selling items to other players. the game has a very rock paper scissor style to it's mechs with each mech having a focus on being able to counter the playstyles of other mechs, so the matches become working with your team mates to make up for the weaknesses of your mech. Overall fun game queue times are a bit of a bummer tho and there has been some issues with bots, although I havent run into them much. Very much a sorta mix of gundam ex versus and armored core.

Pandering to porn addicts is never good if your game isn't porn to begin with. Devs need to make fun games for people that like video games and not add any fanservice or just any women to their games in general because the gooner coomer crowd is gonna shit and piss and yell if said women don't look like porn women and then they'll try to kill your game by calling it woke or some other meme buzzword of the year. If you're gonna make a robot game, don't show the pilots, don't let anyone make a pilot, just have robot customization. We live in an age where the chronic masturbation goon coomer people are equally as annoying as the woke people they hate, both are cancer and both should get executed in public. Both of those groups exhibit extremely abnormal behavior and should be shot on sight.

I don't get people complaining about the customization being monetized. Something was always going to be monetized it's a F2P game, and if it comes down to the mechs being behind paywalls or frilly dresses for your pilot, I'd rather it be the frilly dresses.

I for one didn't enjoy the gameplay at all and I don't see the appeal of it to be honest. I only made it past the tutorial but honestly it felt clunky as hell.

I can tell that the competitive gameplay is just spazzing around in your mecha in three dimensions and bashing your opponent before they bash you which doesn't seem fun.

They went too extreme with the rock paper scissors balance if you want to play a mech that fits your playstyle and it has a popular or op counter in every match you're basically barred from playing it because you'll be at such a disadvantage to the point the game isn't fun, I fuckin' hate hard counter gameplay. The game is fun as shit if they tune some of the mechs back it'll be great but by then it'll be too late. It just feels like the more mechs they add the more imbalanced the game will get. I have no hope for this game.

Ya, poorfags and underage will always complain about that in f2p games for some reason. The concept of companies needing a way to earn money to remain profitable to keep the game updated eludes them, and skins will always been the least intrusive way when it comes to a f2p model... but not necessarily the most profitable way.

This my issue with the game as well. It's too focused on counters and forced teammplay. A Stego or Tricera likely isn't going to be able to do shit about a Inferno or Serenith without help. And in turn, an Inferno or Serenith likely isn't going to be able about a Stellaris without help. And in turn, that Stellaris is going to get destroyed if they try to take on a Welkin or Panther without help.

What has been (You)r favorite mech? I like Stego because you can just melt people with it from surprisingly far away, people also really underestimate me when they get above or close to me. I eat cocky paper plane Falcons for breakfast.

It means you're at the mercy of your team in select and in game if you don't have one of two heavies or healers and a welkin your shit out of luck, so it leaves only two open spots for dps which is map specific in reality it leaves 1 spot for a random dps because one of those spots are for stellaris.
Meta is stale because the game isn't balanced = game is more frustrating than it needs to be = game becomes a chore after you enter the higher ranks = less and less fun as time spent playing goes on as you enter mirror matches on repeat any deviation results in insta-loss.

Correct. People slap the "pay2win" label on anything with a cash shop now. Mechabreakโ€™s monetization boils down to cosmetics and convenience, not raw power. You can unlock all the mechs with regular gameplay and nothing a premium user has gives them an insurmountable edge. If anything, the biggest threat is just bad teammates who pick DPS and run off into the void.
