>game companies, barely a decade ago
fighting tooth and nail for customers, innovating, making killers of halo/forza/whatever to win over customers, copying each other to catch up when someone succeeds, xbox mogging sony at the start of the gen so hard that japs still wish to forget 7th gen like a nightmare and how much trouble it caused coming off the massive ps2 success
>game companies, now
it's like the same race but they are all headed to the bottom with xbox wasting $100 billions to purchase half the industry to become a third party publisher and close some studios, sony putting all their major studios on freeze and nintendo doing nintendo things while being one (soon two) generations behind hardware wise as always

where do we go from here unironically?
xbox fucked up so hard that I don't think it will manage to crawl out of its grave even with microsoft's gibs, either phil delivers results by the next quarter or he's fucked

women are more prone to surround themselves with materialistic expensive shit they don't need to fill the void, whereas for a man he only needs purpose to keep going whether it's having kids or mastering some craft and he will purchase enough materialistic shit and furniture and judge them by their functionality and how useful they are to accomplish whatever it is that he wants

and it ended in 2013, right

I think it's more of an exclusive thing
xbox players stuck with forza, playstation players stuck with gran turismo, the grass is greener on the other side
