Does anyone else feel like they are getting old because they are sick of navigating menus and all the shit you're expected to do in them rather than getting to play the actual game?

I am not even old, but the youth seem to be able to go into the menu, find the research submenu, find the correct category of research, find the desired research project, research the thing, go to the crafting menu, find the correct category, find the correct thing, craft it, find it in their inventory, and choose a spot on their hotbar.

Want to heal? First you must open the menu, find the correct category in the crafting submenu, find the healkit, craft the healkit, and swap something out of your hotbar, then heal. Has anybody else lost their patience for this kind of shit?

It's not just you. UI development is about mobile gacha and conning the player into buying things instead of clearly conveying information.

maybe if we had cool menus like we used to it wouldn't be so shit
