if you are a decent dev, no project being cancelled will take away your 6 digits and compensation packages you get when the project ends abruptly, and if it releases succesfully you get huge bonuses
I paid for the entry fee for a beach house in barcelona with a single compensation package I got from a game being cancelled, it was almost 80k
