For me personally, I play a bunch of co-op games solo due to a combination of friends not being into video games, being console plebs, not being into the same games and being awful at them.
Also because I'm a loser who pushed everyone away since I was seriously considering suicide and burning bridges in some misguided attempt to make it easier on the people I was about to hurt.
