Should i spend 1k euros on a PS5, a 4k TV and a few games? Or just keep the money and play endlessly replayable games on steam like rimworld and crusader kings and wow
>>715526070 just wait 4 more years and miss out on everything just so you can spend 80 dollars to play Crossgen games built with the PS5 in mind but at 120fps or something
>>715525857 (OP) i like the fact that if you want to give AAA action adventure RPGs a try, you will only do it on a console and not invest into a new PC. if you care about the games, you really have to consult reviews first
>>715526562 >give AAA action adventure RPGs a try, you will only do it on a console and not invest into a new PC. As it should be, imagine playing spiderman or death stranding on a keyboard and mouse while being hunched over a desk and a tiny monitor like a caveman

>>715526070 I actually discussed about this with my dad yesterday, he said ps6 was on its way and i googled it, what came up was that the ps6 is probably gonna be a handheld.
>>715526512 Don't playstations come out every 5 years or so? We're 5 years in PS5
>>715526562 I'll be real with you, i want to play Death Stranding 2, Ghost of Yotei and a bunch of other timed exclusives. I am not rich tho so such a decision is a big one for me.
Nothing beats comfy couch gaming. I'm rocking a PS5 Pro and a nice midrange 4k TV. And then there's still at least a few years of PS5 support, honestly seeing how the fucking PS4 is still getting support probably even longer if you don't mind lower performance ports once the PS6 is out.
In the end it's your money and you know what best to do with it, do you see yourself playing a lot the PS5 has to offer or just playing a few vidya titles on it and then have it proceed to collect dust?

>>715526818 >Don't playstations come out every 5 years or so a generation lasts 7 to 8, will probably last more than that as we're currently in technological stagnation. Pro revisions come out every 4 years which double the resolution or performance. If you buy a PS5 Pro now you'll be set beyond 2030
>>715526879 Just upgrade your rig numbnuts. If you've got a grand to spare for a PS5 and a TV, you're better off with a new CPU and GPU. Playstation games all come to PC now anyway.
