It's jsut strange because Stanley just comes out of nowhere and isn't really relevant. Leonard as well. They have official explanations but the story seems rather rushed.

The only thing we know is that Team Silent members said the original draft was deemed too shocking for Konami, and they heard Japanese fans wanting definitive answers for SH1's story. So they made it a direct sequel.

The first boss is obviously a dick monster, with foreskin, and it going in and out of tubes in a sexual manner. It makes me feel like they planned out about 10% of the game about a pregnant teenage runaway, then got the call to change it, but still kept that 10% of their designs and planning. A lot of the monsters are just random bullshit, because they didn't have the time to do it right, and had like 4 artists and rushed things. So it's not like every single enemy is symbolic, just one or two.

You can kinda fit the dick-worm in with demon pregnancy, but it's weird. Then you get Stanley and Leonard, and i think they may have been her stalkers or rapists or something.

Not that weird. Most monsters that have meaning can be tied to pregnancy in some way. Plus, being anxious about sex in general isn't too strange when you have a teenage protagonist. No rape backstory needed.

More like SH2 had disapointing sales, and in the end after all the ports and re-releases, only sold 2 million, less than the original. So they decided to jsut cut the budgets. Sh3 and Sh4 were made for the budget of a single game, and thus were rushed messes. Sh2 team mostly made SH3, while Sh4 was mostly new people (which is why it's so weird and strange and messy).

After 3-4 sold even less, then they gave up on Japanese teams and started to outsource entirely. Then the games didn't sell either so they canned the series for a decade.

Konami went through it's Inafune phase at this point, until eventually giving up entirely. They're trying again.

Not joking, I think Konami and Capcom should have teamed up but that would probably cost more than Blobber who are cheapo idiots.
