This game is laughably fucking bad. The gameplay is absolute dogshit. Especially the melee combat. Not being able to attack an enemy while they're on the ground is stupid. The back and forth when you mash X is janky as fuck. The story is cliche as fuck. It just serves as a means to an end. The social and alignment systems are stupid as fuck too. The fact that killing certain enemies gives you positive alignment is stupid because there's no alternative to killing them. Overall this is a real piece of antiquated jank. And before you call me a zoomer, I had actually played this on release. I had an Xbox. I am just now replaying it and finding it quite the shit game. Despite that it's still charming in it's own way. There's definitely a lot to do and it's satisfying to finish it all.
>>715531612 (OP)excellent bait,sir, here's your (you)
Its supposed to be baby's first rpg.
Your post is like being mad at the Teletubbies for not having a deep lore or character development.
I like the system where you get skill points from whatever type of combat you're using but also generic skill points so you don't leave the other two behind too much
The combat is the same as Dark Souls, I wager you like that game and are contrarian about this one
can't say I really have a retort but I do still love the old game.
My nostalgia and the imagination I had surrounding it are things I cannot disentangle from the whole.
I think the gimmick was interesting enough. Your choices during the game physically mold your character, as opposed to numbers going up for a certain stat. I just hated the level of autism you needed to replay the game to max out your good or bad appearance based on dialogue and mission choices.
>>715533626being good was hard and a game long endeavor, you could become evil at any time pretty easily. I set out to be good but I accidentally murdered a whole town and bought up all the houses.
