Anon from a few days ago reporting back in.
I bought the 5070 and aside from some major performance improvements in Blender and other benchmarks because my old card didn't have the hardware for it it's okay. I enabled RTX and set everything to ultra and get around 70 fps without fake frames. I mean it looks good and okay but it's kind of like in my mind games already looked like that because your mind kind of fills in the missing details. It's cool but I suppose I wouldn't of needed to upgrade.

Some extra detail if you look closely you can still see even on Ultra that it shimmers in the small details and is accumulating over multiple frames indicating that the tech isn't there yet.
