The new Rune Factory just came out and looks pretty good, the Grand Bazaar remake is shaping up to look pretty great too.

I love Harvestella and played it to exhaustive 100% completion even though you don't really get anything for doing that.

Calling Harvestella worse than NuFactory is unthinkable. It has old Rune Factory devs and it's a way better game. It's honestly one of the best action RPGs in recent years that's not a Souls clone.

It’s a JRPG with tacked on life-sim elements whereas Rune Factory is the opposite, comparing the two is pointless as they both offer very different things. Harvestella is automatically worse than anyone looking for a new Rune Factory or Harvest Moon simply because it’s ultimately not a life-sim but just your average JRPG.

Did anyone else find stardew valley unplayable due to playing harvest moon fomt? That game had so many button combo shortcuts that felt amazing. Stardew valley feels horrible and awkward in comparison and I don't get how nobody else points this out.

The handheld HMs (up until the DS of course) were outliers in the series because of the gameboy and gba only having 2 face buttons, so they had to get creative.
I played SDV with a mouse and keyboard so the thought never crossed my mind, but if I tried playing it with a controller I would've missed the button combos
