I miss when it was just me and my cousin playing online games together. We started making friends with new people to play with over the past few years. All of them are cool and I've met them in person. However, it ironically limits how much you can actually play. Instead of us two just trying out new games and shit, now we do that for ten minutes before someone else jumps in the chat, and then we're back to playing the same game we've already played for seven years for the rest of the day. It was easy for us two to buy and try new games, but good luck getting like ten different people to buy a game together. So it always defaults to the same boring, safe multiplayer game that everyone has.

They keep adding more and more annoying shit but at the end of the day, absolutely none of it has actually prevented me form using Discord in the way I expected it to work. The day they paywall off a basic feature that already existed is when it's over, but until then I don't care if people have retarded animated avatars and getting a window I have to press X on it once in a while.
It's a little upsetting that they won't make 1080/60 minimum the standard for streaming through Discord but again, that's not even a feature I expected Discord to even have when I first started using it. Even at 720/30 it's been extremely convenient to show something to a friend real quick too.

Depends where you're at and where you define girlfriend. I'd say the problem most relationships have is that 'Girlfriend' relies strictly on a physical context and not a deep emotional bond. Ideally somewhere between your first date and when you finally shack up as a couple you've bridged the connection and have that special bond that doesn't wholly rely on some corcumstantial context like "were bf/gf because we fuck" and more on "this is a person who knows me intimately(in more than a strictly sexual way) and we have special responsibilities to eachother"

The "friends" that I have on here don't even play the games that I do anymore. I'm tempted to delete all of my messages along with my account. No one has messaged me in nearly over a year.
