This is Platinum's only good game.

I like Vanquish but this feels like one of those parody Doom Eternal webms where people play the game like a spastic without achieving much

The truth is the game isn't balanced around sliding and jumping around like a spaz, you can only do that on the lower difficulties and at that point it's kind of like using God Mode instead of playing the game. On the other hand the normal mechanics of shooting behind cover, moving around and sparsely using your movement abilities to get a flank or pick off enemies isn't boring like people make it out to be, it just doesn't look good in a montage
