>You are being summoned to another world
>You get a cool cutscene and the fight starts
>You're the boss vs another actual player
Why has no other game done innovative multiplayer mechanics since Demon's Souls? The only thing I can think of is Escape from Tarkov and The Hunt Showdown which have tried to do new and unique things using the internet. When I first got the internet in like 2000 I was expecting multiplayer to be a lot more interesting than it is today.

Because casuals bitched and moaned about it for a decade, forcing FromSoft to neuter and guard rail every successive implementation. And then Escape from Tarkov and Dark and Darker came out and proved that there's actually a market for hardcore multiplayer experiences and casuals are just soft.

You can do the exact same thing in ds3. Do it for the sleepy princess.

Because people just want same game but with more guys.
Like the Souls series tried to do it differently but yet people bitch how you can't just hop online and play the entire game together (don't forget gamers killed dedicated servers by buying shitty games and supporting shitty companies)
