He was doing fine until he became convinced western trends were the future. It was all downhill from there.
He clearly has a lot of issues with planning/budgeting and not overpromising shit too. Every fucking damn game he touched after leaving Capcom he wanted to turn into some massive multi-media franchise before even gaining an audience to warrant it with first.
