I've been replaying Skyrim recently and I just finished the lighthouse quest, and it hit me that these 4 people being killed and one of them being eaten was portrayed (and received by the fanbase) as some sort of dark unspeakable tragedy in the same game where you have 3 different options to cannibalize on people, with 1 accompanied by a genocidal faction inhabiting a crackhouse filled to the brim with dozens of gore and viscera tens of times more than what you saw in the lighthouse. Not to mention the other faction that keeps people alive indefinitely to torture for information about treasure you don't need.

I've played this game since it came out on the Switch when I was 11 and I've never seen someone discuss this even once. Honestly idk if I will continue after this.
