Besides the story, focus mode is something that they clearly weren't ready to balance all monsters/weapons around. Shit made the game so much easier than usual.

This game badly needs a mode where you can just go ham on hunting monster in an area without interruptions.
I just hate the gameplay loop of:
Pick mission to hunt monster > Call your chocobo to taxi you to the monster > kill monster > return to town
rinse and repeat.

Hate me if you want, but I think a rogue-like mode would be really fun in this game.

Barebones release content and table scraps for patches feels like shit to play
