I want to learn GS properly so bad yet I keep defaulting to LS and by the time I'm in G-rank it feels too daunting to farm up an entire set just to then fumble with the weapon for god knows how long before you're able to use it well

Besides the story, focus mode is something that they clearly weren't ready to balance all monsters/weapons around. Shit made the game so much easier than usual.

This game badly needs a mode where you can just go ham on hunting monster in an area without interruptions.
I just hate the gameplay loop of:
Pick mission to hunt monster > Call your chocobo to taxi you to the monster > kill monster > return to town
rinse and repeat.

Hate me if you want, but I think a rogue-like mode would be really fun in this game.

Game is too easy -> Less of a need to grind content/gear -> Most players finish what content is available even faster than previous titles
Barebones release content and table scraps for patches feels like shit to play
Everyone's stuck waiting for the G rank DLC which will have the same exact issues until it gets its final updates.

Its mostly the same problems World had except the performance issues make it even worse.
