Why did they make this forklift so fucking terrifying?

I once talked to a guy in a line that told me a forklift quickly went around a blind bend and the fork went straight into the side of his boot, piercing straight into it and into his foot. He was dragged around 2~4 yards by his foot and it was split open horizontally by the fork.

Forklifts are pretty terrifying in general. Sometimes people even give me shit for being super fucking hesitant when crossing behind one and it's like nah fuck you nigger that's a four wheeled man mangler that's also good at moving cargo, I ain't taking no chances.
