How is a corporation this gigantic and rich completely lacking in any foresight? To put it into perspective: Microsoft's market cap is 25x larger than Sony's. They literally cannot predict any type of trend or future successful endeavor. Microsoft hardware failed. Windows Phone failed. Windows is garbage.

If you found a way to make money in the boomer years you can sit on your ass and keep bringing in billiions upon billions while destroying western society (you're not going to live long enough to live the consequences anyway). Microsoft's success with Windows was all cheating, stealing and monopoly. Go watch any documentary about Bill Gates and Microsoft and you'll be blown away by how absolutely fraudulent and crooked this company is. Zoomers probably have no idea this was a thing but all throughout the 90's and early 2000's everyone thought Bill Gates was the anti-Christ and then he spent millions to clean up his image paying journalists and stuff to write positive articles about him.
