not reading the thread since i'm not done with the game, but holy shit was the first fight cool. the second one was also really neat, but goddamn the visuals in the first area were insane, i will not forget that one for a long time. i wont forget the second one either, because i beat him with a fucking psycho crusher lmao

Fuck off this thread anon i'm gonna spoil your ass.
This must be tragedy. A lot of the time in other stories a character does something stupid, suffers the consequences and it's presented as tragic. Neil didn't deserve any of it and and the whole world laid into him anyway.
He doesn't have a lot of scenes but his pathos is evident and that's a way to write old-school real tragedy. It is the gods who must torture the protagonist, it must not be fair.

Personally, I'd rather see Kojima and Yoji create a new world, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if that ends up being the case.

He was made guilty and that's what i mentioned. As for his original sin i found these events believable, i did not make this face which is mfw a character takes a stupid decision. The horror of the situation was portrayed with appropriate weight and with that he made himself guilty. He only wanted to redeem himself as we all. He was punished for it by the fates.
Lou has two dads, a living dad and a dad in the underworld. She appeared to love them both.
I accept this character.
