That's why I feel 2D sidescrollers aren't very good for speedrunning, you never have a big picture of the level unless you play it dozens of times. At least in games like meat boy or n++ you can see a lot of the level and plan ahead

the OST is easily one of the best parts about the game. every single track is good. like actually every single one, even the less energetic ones
death I deservioli is still my favorite. I haven't white-knuckled a controller in forever but when that song comes on and you're barreling through the level at 100MPH you just feel the SOVL radiating out of your screen

I only remembered where the secret entrances are at, I sight read everything else.
The levels are designed to allow you to reach a flow state, maintaining it is your own responsibility.
