It's like if a Zelda game was turn based, which makes it perfectly okay or mediocre. It only has great level design, good music and bosses. The game is also open world if you experiment enough with it. The actual worse Mario game is one of these

I liked the level formats, but absolutely hated how every boss relied on some real-world object gimmick to win the fights.
