TF2 was only good when it was about the community (community servers and frends). Once you ignore that, all that remains is the shitty monetization Valve used which is scammier than OW. The last truly community Valve game was CSS.

This is why the botting "crisis" was honestly a good thing for TF2. It actually got people to start hosting servers and forming communities again, if only at a much smaller scale. A pinprick shadow of what it once was but that's to be expected after so long. It's also a good example of why matchmaking services suck and giving players the freedom to run their own games is king.
