What even is the point of the 2 minute timer in Tony Hawk games? There's no punishment for time running out, so there's no real urgency. It feels like a hold over from actual arcade games that doesn't fit well into the Tony Hawk games. It was a questionable design choice in 1998, and it's a questionable design choice now.

The only real issues I’ve seen with 3+4 (beyond the actual content changes) is some bad screen tearing when playing on high FPS modes, but they’re apparently putting out a patch

I played the demo on a Series S at my bros house and this was the case, basically unplayable. I did not have this problem playing on another Series S on his sons monitor. I put it down to his shitty ancient TV but maybe there is something else to it. I play on PC at home and it's fine too.

I'll get it eventually as I enjoyed 1+2 and I'm praying for a THUG2 remake. The fact that they let Bam back in, gives me hope in us getting THUG2 now since he played a major role in the Story mode for THUG2. That being said, I'm waiting until 3+4 go on sale. Normally, I wouldn't mind paying $25 a pop for the games as to me that's somewhat fair pricing (should really be $40) but the fact that they locked the demo behind pre-ordering is some of the most Jewish shit I've ever seen, so now I refuse to pay full price for the game.
