On console? Yes its locked to 30fps meaning the bullshit is mitigated. On pc? No because leeches, leechmen, the bat boss, & the final boss are all broken for one reason or another. The game is mostly good outside of those issues & the monkey hit boxes. Retards will complain about item management ignoring the fact resident evil 1 also expected you to manage your items & reset if you fucked up. They will also cry over muh magic box ignoring the fact RE0 was designed to be more tense amd punishing because you may leave an important item in a repopulated area. Its a 7 out of 10 by RE standards

Why does it matter if you're playing on console or not? RE0's biggest flaw is the item management. I honestly believe if you play the game up to the end of the train and turn it off you're set. It's a slog of a game. That's about 40 minutes of good gameplay with good atmosphere then it turns into

game is shit desu And unlike the lazy motherfuckers here I can tell you the guy who directed it was his first time doing so and Capcom never asked him to come back Resident Evil ever again. The monsters aren't scary either, they're all animals. Assuming you can get an item box mod on the PC I suppose its playable, but I wouldn't rate it that high. I'd play Code Veronica over RE0 any day of the week. I like Rebecca but her game isn't very good, sadly.

I thought it was pretty great. If you like the old school RE's i dont see why you wouldnt like this one.

RE is maybe my favourite game series ever. I have finished all the mainline games multiple times (except 8 because it sucked) and I think RE0 is a very bad game.
Id recommend basically any of the other games over 0. All the monsters are bugs and slugs and the villain is a dumb anime sephiroth looking guy. The whole thing is just weird and bad.
The only saving grace is fan fav Becky Chambers but even that can't save this game. It just kinda sucks.

Good game, would be great of each character had 8 inventory slots each instead of 6

I'm glad this game exists, because it's the perfect thing to point to when faggots start sperging out about muh RE 1.5.
If 0 was shitcanned entirely when the N64 died, as it should have been, you'd see the same exact people fantasizing about this "lost masterpiece." Except the devs actually followed through on this one and, big fucking surprise, it's putrid garbage.
