Playing characters like fox online is dreadful. You'll win at neutral over and over and then die the one time you missed a tech roll because wifi ate your input. Also Sakurai is a retard for adding a spam limit to tilt inputs when pressing tilt and mashing A is the only reliable way to peform multiple tilts online

RoA2's character designs are great. Every single character feels like they have a clear concept that's articulated well through their attributes and attacks. I feel like if you the painted over Rivals' gameplay with Nintendo characters and Ultimate kiddies actually played it, it would blow their minds.

I think the Miis time of being in every first party Nintendo release a la Wii/3ds/wii u is long gone. It was actually already over during the switch 1 era. All the games that had mii support were either Wii U ports or smash ultimate, which had to have every character ever. But that doesn’t mean the Miis are dead. We’re literally getting a new Tomodachi game soon. They’re just gonna be relegated to their own side games from now on.

Honestly, I don't think they'll do it. They're aware of the negative PR that microtransactions generate, and Amiibo is basically their way of circumventing it. It would draw unfavorable comparisons to Rivals 2 as well.

Ultimate since I never played it as much as 4. Marth is fun in remix and who I have been messing around with most, definitely more on the Melee end where he is not really hard, just strong as fuck. I wish there was an actual online scene for remix, not even just a more casual, easygoing scene. Only thing I could find were people that still pretty much played vanilla 64, even on a remix rom, on some janky old emulator.

I don't have Smash Ultimate main. I play more than 10 characters at peak performance. The game isn't so deep that you need to main one character. Maybe if your main is Kazuya or something, I don't have the character. But even then I doubt it because I play Ken and Bayonetta as two of my characters and it's fine.

in brawl it was dedede in the purple skin (i used to call him pimp dedede as a kid) as well as default snake. for ultimate it's simon in the simon's quest skin, occasionally samus in the gravity suit skin. although frankly i haven't played in forever.

Mewtwo's animations were peak in Smash 4.
The slower speed let the fluidity really shine in the motions.
More fun to play in ultimate, but not as visually appealing to see move.

His only flaws are his short jump, shitty recovery, lack of range (you risk hitting sourspots and doing fuckall to your opponent if you try to poke), having no projectile, and having nothing in his kit to deal with zoners and projectile spam. That aside, Roy really is our boy. He's a hard-hitting rushdown fast-faller with an insanely good bait-and-punish game, solid aerial combos and great edgeguarding capability.
