I want to play a MMO. Is Albion any good? How bad is the pay to win?

it's a hardcore [full loot drop on death] group pvp mmo and you'll have a bad time without unemployed friends or being player#369 in a large guild. it plays like a traditional RTS themed MOBA [dota, lol].

I think that's neat. I feel like a lot of modern games were too kid gloves. So being able to really fuck up someone's day (or vice versa) is pretty enticing.

Good luck getting to the point where you're the one doing the fucking up. You will literally need at least three months. You have to pick a weapon family (Arcane Staff is a safe pick for newbies) and then level every weapon in that family to level 120 for you to even dent anyone.

Just got to 60 on classic wow anniversary, got into a guild run MC. It fell apart in 30 minutes after waiting 3 hours. I uninstalled as my goal was 60 and not much else. I didn't hit 60 originally on classic so it was a goal of mine. Man what a terrible game and community, I don't think there is a worse community out there in the MMO space than Blizzards. Maybe FFXIV. I want to play Maplestory Classic but its not out yet.
