Odyssey is "look at this cool gimmick and please ignore the fact that everything else about the gameplay is worse than games we made 20 years ago" the game. It is so mind-numbingly easy and impossible to fail at it's embarrassing. There is more difficulty in a single midgame SMB 64 stage than there is in the entirety of Odyssey.

The entire game is basically pointless Yes, on the outside, it's a technical achievement. But that's the only good thing it's like getting a lamborghini and it's beautiful on the outside but you get in it and it smells like s*** and the Interior was cheaply made to fool you just long enough so the Salesman can run off with your money. Cool ass looking car it works but everything else is shit and runins the experience.

I've never seen gamers hate so passionately on a story. It's amazing how many fans came out years after the game to point out that it was never a 10 ever.
