so did mario's parents get killed when he was an infant? as seen in the credits to yoshi's island, it seems they live within toad town. in partners in time, the toad town of presumably twenty to twenty five years ago gets destroyed and unless humans can become mushroomized like toads and by extension return through the power of the baby tear machine (koopas can at least what with kylie koopa), they're fuckin dead and that ruins this happy ass music for no reason.
