THIS FUCKING BITCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If I don't have red circle in place, 5th gear cycle starts from the white circle. If I do have it in place, every single cycle is delayed by offset between white and red
WHAT IS THE PROBLEM OF THIS SHIT FUCKING ASS GAME
I haven't played in years, but basically every tool cycles at the same rate as the longest delay (counting total length from first to last instruction but not delay before first). By adding that instruction at the start, you are making arm 5 have the longest set of instructions and forcing the rest of the machine to sync with it.,
have you tried using that offset command (hotkey X)?
>>715696406I liked that part of the plot involved buying a bunch of cheap low quality lead, converting it directly into gold and then selling it on to buy more lead for an infinite money cycle
It's exactly what a fantasy alchemist would do in that situation
>time optimizing plebeians
>cost optimizing contrarians
>area optimizing patricians
>>715699496I just try to make something that works at all desu
Opus Magnum is babby's first Zachtronics games cause you don't need to optimize shit to arrive at a solution
>>715700860Unironically filtered.
The fact you can do a two digits IQ brute force to move to the next stage is inconsequential if not a good thing. It has the best autism potential. Shenzhen IO is the midwit high floor but low ceiling game.
>>715700860babys first zachtronics is kaizen bro, get with the times.
>>715701308>le filteredYou didn't even beat Spacechem
>>715701360>evenspacechem is 500 times harder than opus
>>715700860>Opus Magnum is babby's first Zachtronics games cause you don't need to optimize shit to arrive at a solutionThis is perfectly fine. It encourages you to set your own goals. If you're happy with your first iteration, good for you. And if you want to go through several iterations to steadily optimize your design, then also good for you. This way the game is fun for everyone.
>>715701715I'm not him
>you got filtered by ez game>retort with you EVEN can't beat HARDER gameEven raises the scales, so it has to be an EVEN easier game than opus. you're retarded.
>>715702043>>retort with you EVEN can't beat HARDER gameExactly. Because shouting about "filtered" means you're saying that you can beat it easily. And bragging about beating a game with no limitations easily is pathetic. You didn't even beat Spacechem
No more (you)s for someone who cannot read
>>715699228Wouldn't this be the most realistic method? One arm programmed to do it all is cheaper and space efficient.
>>715696661???
You hijack a shipment of lead because its low value means it won't be as secured nor missed as much.
so how's Kaizen? I heard it's too easy but I'm not very good at these games anyway...
>>715702717The most realistic method if you see it as an actual industrly is to have many arms doing the steps in a line, and to have many lines in parallel
>>715702717Forgot to say, no one cares that much about space efficiency, you just buy as much land as you need
What do we think of non-Zachtronics engineering games?
>>715700860this is why spacechem is better. (aside from the godawful boss battles)
>>715704404Why were they bad? It's been years but all I remember is having to make some elements fast to feed a cannon with a time limit
>>715704465they undermine the entire automation aspect by requiring you to do timed manual inputs. they don't even record your score because there's some random elements to them.
>>715704404>aside from the godawful boss battlesThat stupid asteroid defence still filters me 15 years later.
One thing suddenly comes to mind, can ChatGPT beat zach game?
>>715706005To have ChatGPT do that you'd first have to encode the rules in a way that it can produce a solution, at which point you've already manually written a puzzle solving program yourself
It's a text prediction tool, nigga, not an AI
>>715703771You vill buy exactly 88 land and you vill be happy
>>715700860Kaizen is way easier and it's not even close really.
>>715706083>manually written a puzzle solving programno you don't, you just need to feed it the manual and it can solve almost everything
>>715696406converted to webm, just to see how much it would save of filesize.
>>715705001i thought zach where the closest you could get to actual programming/IT experience without working on the field but isn't this shit actually a processor building sim? Holy shit dude.
>>715707246>zach where the closest you could get to actual programming/IT experience without working on the fieldI mean there's something of a smooth gradient between games and simulators. Zach has konctpyktop for example which is a lot more "actual processor building" than any of his later mainstream games. Or nandgame exists (non-zach).
