Literally because it wasn't on Xbox and and PC.
Whoever makes these deals needs to learn that unless it's a week or 2 after the original launch, it's going to be forgotten. You literally lost millions of dollars for everyone for no reason.

I would go as far to say that the best way to make these times exclusives is to...
wait 3 weeks after the original launch then launch on Xbox and PC.
Wait another week after that and launch it on switch 2 if it's possible.
That way you are maxing the total amount of relevance for the game.
