I love everything about cache, it's tied for my favorite map along cobblestone which is probably never coming back.
As for why the cache remake still isn't in the map pool? It is horribly optimized, too busy and the terrorist skins all blend into the environment, it's going to need at least another year in the oven before valve decides that it's fit for competitive play.
By the time it's ready, I doubt that valve will even add it in, especially as part of the active duty pool since it's already been so long since it's been a part of the game that there has been an influx of new players and players rarely spend the time to learn new maps.

Its because FMPONE fucked up and map has performance issues even up to 30% average fps loss in comparison to other maps. It was playable on Faceit for some time for testing purposes. Valve bought the map from FMPONE in this absolute state and since they are lazy fucking bums its taking them long to fix performance issues.
