Console sales alone made Nintendo a billion, Hoyo's monthly revenue pales in comparison to Nintendo, also the operating cost of Hoyo is much larger than that of Nintendo because Hoyo needs to put out a new patch every month, unlike Nintendo which has more leeway and time to develop their games, making their game development less costly
