is this game good? would /v/ recommend?

i played through it last year after a furry said the protagonist was kinda like me. after playing through it, i realize he was calling me a girlfailure, which is fine. i guess.

its a good game, very lynchian, but if you dont like twee furries talking about personal drama then you probably wont get much outta it. got a lot of good atmosphere too

I enjoyed it, the characters and dialogue are what mostly interested me. Also the cozy town vibes with a dark secret is always interesting.

The last... third, I wanna say? of the game really annoyed me with the whole cult and eldritch horror thing but I really liked the characters overall and the MC specifically resonated with me to an alarming degree.

honestly, not really. The game is pretty cozy and the characters can be kinda cute, but most of them are pretty insufferable most of the time. The story is not very good. Pretty much nothing happens until the end, and then suddenly the game rockets past its conclusion and it's suddenly over.
If you start getting bored of the gameplay, I'd recommend just watch the cutscenes online.

Every time I see this game, I remember the creator killed himself thanks to false rape allegations from Zoe, and his family never sided with him.
So, there's that. Never played the game, tho.

It's fine, but way too long for how simple and repetitive it is. I really had to push myself to finish it. Some more mini-games would've been fine, but mostly it just needed to be shorter. It's decently charming and has some nice music but honestly, I might just be too old for coming of age stories like this. I loved relating to characters like this at one point but nowadays it's hard to see them as anything but naive and immature and basically just going through a phase, it's not that big of a deal or a story that needs to be told anymore (for me).
