You can take the Zach out of Zachtronics but you can't take the Zachtronics out of Zach.

the old company is gone, the new one still has the same people. So thank god we are still getting these excellent puzzle games. I can only imagine they must only get five sales per instance, but I really appreciate that they take the time and effort to make great games like this for such a tiny group of people. I recently played Exo Punks and it was dope.

I also feel like Factorio and its similar games are similar in vibe to Zactronics' games too

It's fun, but left me wanting.
The first half is great. Puzzles were small and sweet, and there's a nice progression.
The latter half is unfortunately boring filler. Uninteresting clothes theme, no new mechanics or tricks to learn at all, and the game ends too quickly.
Coupled with zero really difficult puzzles, there's nothing to really make me feel like I achieved something great.

Anyways, I recommend it for the first few chapters, until you reach the fashion chapter. The rest of the game is mostly a grind, from which you might find a little bit of amusement.

Try to occupy the spawn point as little as possible.
Every turn it's occupied means 1 more turn delayed for the next spawn.

due to how the game works, you know that the minimum turns is 6 cause of how you need 6 pieces to dispense from the hole. you dont need to spend a turn to shift the stack if 3 buttons down.

Is the scooter really the last puzzle or are there secret ones? The game ends ratger abruptly. Also favourite puzzle? I enjoyed the claw and the coffee maker, on the other hand I wasn't impressed by the clothing themed ones.

This is why I don't really like minimizing cost in these types of games because it just devolves into 20 turns of fiddling around by constantly using the same equipment.

The games complexity is limited by the 4 actions per turn limit. It also lacks a proper finale. They probably just rushed the game out the door when it was about 80% done and called it a day.

I wouldn't call opus magnum simple.
The reason why it's easy is because unlike his other games it has no limitations.
Even the challenge levels can be bruteforced by grabbers with stupidly long commands.

Cutting, then slotting in the pieces and welding them tightly to each other is pretty satisfying.
But there is no substance or challenge in the game after the first half, and you're just left pushing around tetris pieces for a puzzle that you've already probably solved in your head.

And when I rotate a three-tile L shape on a square grid it will randomly warp and mirror itself
