If you genuinely have no one youre gonna have to make the hard decision of finding adult meetups to get networking. I dont know if you and your neighbors are on good terms, let alone speaking terms. But the shared living proximity can be used as a justification to break the ice.
Biggest thing to be aware of when you do start an escape room with strangers is to be very patient: no one likes a bossy nag calling all the shots, thats a great way to make people not want to speak with you again. The rooms have enough things to do at once that you shouldn't be stepping on anyone's toes or shoving others aside. I know we are both anons so there is not a guarantee either of us are well adjusted adults, but take my word for it: its more enjoyable to fail gracefully as a group than to be right but cause friction and self segregate. There are some vidya that are based on escape rooms, so you can do those ones solo without it feeling weird.
