So I picked this up in the Steam sale for £2.99 or whatever it was, I'd looked at it before and wasn't sure if I'd like it or not. I did some of the tutorials, on rocket building and it didn't really grab me, but when I finally got into orbit and it starts taking you through all the manovoures and then to get to the moon and then to do a rendevous... I'm not even though the tutorial yet but this is so much fun.
The only way this could be better is if it was fully immersive i.e. if you actually had a targeting computer in first person I don't like 3rd person I want to feel like I am the Kerbal.

I remember when it was free and test versions were being shilled here it sure came a long way, shame about KSP2 but the jew publisher kinda fucked them over from the start, it's still fucking insane that it's being sold for full AAA price in early access yet it's completely abandoned at this point.
check out the new game kitten space program which is more of a successor and being built with a custom engine so they don't have to deal with unity quirks

Funny story, I worked with someone that looked really weird he had the most odd looking bulging eyes in the world every time I saw him I thought wow this guy looks weird, but in the end I got used to it and it just looked normal. He mentioned in passing he'd played KSP that was well before I got the game, but as I said in the OP I bought the game only recently and I just realized he literally looked like a Kerbal lol. He was married so it couldn't have been that bad for his dating life.
