Already on the 3rd level or layer 300 and i have over 100 bananas which is around the same amount SM64/sunshine/galaxy had. This game is as annoying with collectibles than 64, honestly sometimes even worse. Every second im getting gold/coins or some chest or im collecting the dozens of fossils around. The bananas are more than enough why is there SO MUCH SHIT TO COLLECT i feel like im playing an ADHD simulator with shit to collect every centimeter theres just something to break that explodes into a million pieces of gold and coins im getting brainrot

it can be fun but i miss when getting a collectible felt good like in the older 3D marios
