I'm actually happy about all this.
I used to be pretty miserable and shameful of some of the stuff I ended up jerking off to, especially when I noticed just how far I felt into this cesspit of worse and worse fetishes over time.

Because in the United States crypto is treated not as currency, but as an asset - meaning that it's taxed differently and it's a hassle and a fuckton more paperwork, and the law changes on it every couple of years. People follow the path of least resistance, if crypto was treated as a currency and ownership taxed as income and nothing else - more people would accept it. Crypto isn't "free from censorship" though, it bottlenecks up to the exchanges which all require you to submit your tax details to trade and purchase - and companies like coinbase, robinhood, etc. have refused to do business with people they disagreed with before. Several years ago Steam did actually accept Bitcoin as payment however the price and fees were to volatile for them to keep it, in 2017 they axed it.
